What does ChekCoach provide?
ChekCoach offers background checks, coaching certification, and essential safety trainings — including coaching and leadership fundamentals, concussion awareness, first aid, and child abuse prevention — all in one platform.
Can ChekCoach work with any sport, volunteer group, business, or organization?
Yes — ChekCoach is built to support any organization that works with youth or vulnerable individuals — not just sports. Whether you run a club team, school program, church group, daycare, camp, or nonprofit, our screening and training tools can help you ensure your coaches, volunteers, or staff are properly vetted and prepared.
How long does the certification last?
Coach certifications are valid for one year from the date of completion. Coaches will need to renew annually.
Is this a subscription service?
Yes — ChekCoach is a yearly subscription that automatically renews unless turned off. Coaches or clubs can manage renewal settings in their account dashboard.
What background checks are included?
We run criminal history and sex offender registry checks to help clubs make informed decisions about their coaching staff.
How are my Social Security number and date of birth protected?
Your Social Security number and date of birth are required by Accurate Background, LLC to complete your background check. ChekCoach does not retain either of these fields in its database. They are transmitted to Accurate through an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored within Accurate's secured systems.
ChekCoach receives the screening status and information necessary to administer your certification. Accurate maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access or alteration.

Do you offer official CPR or first aid certification?
Our First Aid Awareness training is not an official certification. We recommend supplementing with an accredited in-person course like those offered by the American Red Cross.
How are certified coaches listed?
Can club administrators track coach progress?
Yes — admins can view progress, download certificates, and monitor compliance in real time through the Club Admin Dashboard.
